    • According to many/most online trees as well as family genealogies Mary and Hezekiah were parents of a son named Stephen Seaman. There are no records to support this and no documents which would connect Stephen to this family. The will of Hezekiah dated 1783 and proved 1786 names wife Mary and children Isaac, Jacomiah, Absolom and Thomas. If Stephen were a son he would almost certainly have been named in the will in some capacity. Were he deceased prior to his father some portion of the estate would likely have been bequeathed to any children he might have had. However no mention of he or any heirs is made leading us to conclude with reasonable certainty that he was NOT a child of Hezekiah and Mary or connected to this specific family.
